■ Dan Hibiki

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

Dan taunts his way back in Street Fighter V to show who’s the strongest! No not me, Dan from the Capcom U.S.A. Community Team… I mean Dan Hibiki! This time around, Dan has been training harder than ever and has become even stronger than before, if that was even possible! Many of you will be surprised to find out how much of an offensive beast Dan has become. So let’s dive right in and learn all about the Master of Saikyo in Street Fighter V.

Both of Dan’s V-Skills allow him to cancel any of his moves to perform his signature Taunts. For V-Skill I, “Saikyo-Style Burairuten No Kamae,” this Taunt opens up many combo paths that would not normally be possible and can make many of Dan’s moves safe. With V-Skill II, “Saikyo-Style Otokoboe,” Dan can cancel almost any normal move (except crouching Heavy Kick) into another normal or special move, if properly timed. Watch out, though: these V-Skills will not only build Dan’s V-Gauge, but also the V-Gauge of his opponent! This will lead to some hectic fights as Dan’s new offensive powers also enable those he’s fighting.

—V-Skill I

—V-Skill II

When it comes to V-Triggers, Dan comes fully equipped in Street Fighter V. Dan’s “Haoh Gadoken” fireball makes a return from Street Fighter IV, and has become Dan’s V-Trigger I in Street Fighter V. This returning move is unique in that it is the only V-Trigger in the game that costs only one bar of V-Gauge, allowing you to use it more often in matches. You can even charge it up, which can lead to a guard crush or a wall bounce!

—Dan’s patented “Haoh Gadoken!”

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

Dan’s V-Trigger II, “Tenchi Saikyo No Kata,” powers up his “Gadoken” fireball and “Koryuken” uppercut special moves. His fireball will gain more hits, while his uppercut gains complete invincibility. With proper timing, you can add extra hits and damage to each of these moves in combos!

—Dan’s Koryuken becomes “Goh Koryuken,” gains full invincibility, and hits multiple times!

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

—His Gadoken becomes “Haten Gadoken” and hits multiple times as well!

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

With all of these offensive tools at his disposal, Dan is looking to be full of flair and strength when he’s released on February 22!

■ Rose

I have seen the future, and in it Rose makes her return in Street Fighter V! This includes returning moves as well as brand new moves, so let me consult my crystal ball and show you what Rose has to offer when she releases this spring!

Rose’s “Soul Throw” has been replaced with her new anti-air move called “Soul Bind.” Instead of leaping towards her opponents, Rose now uses her Soul powered scarf to grab airborne opponents. Of course, Rose would not be Rose without her “Soul Spark” projectile. It seems in Street Fighter V she’s gained the ability to throw a “Soul Spark” in the air, as well! Each punch button will have her throw it at different angles.

—Rose’s new Soul Bind

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

—Rose can now use Soul Spark in the air!

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

Brand new to Rose’s moveset, “Soul Fortune” (her V-Skill I) allows her to summon tarot cards that will provide different buffs to herself and debuffs to her victims.

—Using Soul Fortune lets Rose summon Tarot cards!

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

You may recognize her tarot cards from her Street Fighter Alpha 3 battle intro where she throws one at M. Bison. Back then, this was only a special intro, but it has now been fully realized in Street Fighter V as one of her moves!

As mentioned in the Summer Update in August of last year, the Street Fighter V development team knew how popular “Soul Satellite” was. Thus, the move returns as her V-Skill II in Street Fighter V, allowing her to keep on the offensive.

—Soul Satellite makes its foretold return to Street Fighter V!

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

V-Trigger I is called “Soul Dimension,” a teleportation move that gives Rose new mix-up opportunities, and V-Trigger II is her popular “Soul Illusion” from the Street Fighter Alpha series, in which Rose creates shadow illusions of herself giving her access to potentially long combos that deal heavy damage.

These new attacks and abilities for Rose give you a choice of a more mix-up and combo-heavy approach, or a more defensive “zoning” style of play!

With new zoning and offensive tools as well as her “Soul Power” and tarot cards in hand, my prediction is that Rose will be released this spring!

■ New Stage: Marina of Fortune

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

■ V-Shift

Need more defensive options? We got you covered with the powerful new V-System mechanic in Street Fighter V, called “V-Shift.” This new defensive mechanic will be available for all players for free, along with the next Battle Balance update, and will help you get out of tough situations at the cost of one bar of V-Gauge. Unlike V-Reversal, V-Shift can be executed at nearly any moment in a match, and will make you fully invincible to attacks, throws, and projectiles for a short time. A successful V-Shift triggers a slow-motion effect, allowing you to react to your opponent and punish them! But be careful: if you use it openly with no attacks coming at you, you’ll lose a full bar of V-Gauge.

—V-Shift will give you more defensive options.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

You can also follow V-Shift up with an attack called a “V-Shift Break.” This will cause your character to do a forward moving attack. If the attack connects, it can knock your opponent down.

—A V-Shift Break attack will put a stop to your opponent!

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

V-Shift adds one more way to utilize your V-Gauge in a match. Now with V-Shift, V-Reversal, and V-Trigger, that makes a total of three different uses for your V-Gauge! We can’t wait to see the intensity this will bring to matches in Street Fighter V!

■ Bonus Season V Pass Content: Eleven

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

Didn’t expect this reveal, did you? Arriving along with Dan on February 22, Eleven will be released as a FREE bonus with a purchase of the Season V pass! As long time fans and Street Fighter lore experts may have surmised, Eleven is a prototype version of Street Fighter III’s Twelve. Eleven, who is able to shape-shift into other life-forms, was created by Gill’s secret organization.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

You might have noticed Eleven also made an appearance in Urien’s Story mode as a duplicate version of Urien.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

Much like Eleven’s appearance in Urien’s Story, Eleven acts as a mimic of sorts, and will transform itself into any character that you currently own in Street Fighter V. In addition, a random V-Skill and V-Trigger will also be selected for you.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

The randomly selected character will retain Eleven’s color scheme, while still performing exactly like the character being duplicated! You’ll also notice that the characters sound a bit different as well – another interesting little side effect of Eleven’s mimicry.

We hope you enjoy the extra bit of excitement that comes with playing as Eleven in Street Fighter V! Eleven will be released as a FREE bonus if you purchase one of the Street Fighter V Season V Passes (more details further below)!

■ New Free Stage: The Grid Alternative

Wait a second… did you notice anything different about the training stage in the V-Shift screenshots? This new training stage is called “The Grid Alternative” and will be free for all players with the Season V update on February 22! Now you can train even harder a darker shade of blue that’s easier on the eyes!

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

■ New Battle Balance for the Entire Roster!

Also arriving on February 22 is the new Battle Balance update! This extensive list of changes to previous characters will be available to all players for free! The update will take into account the new V-Shift mechanic, as well as the inclusion of Dan. We’ll have more detailed info to share on the Battle Balance update once Season V begins, so stay tuned for more info coming soon!

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is available now for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition DLC characters Oro and Akira Kazama launch August 16; newcomer Luke launches in November

The final character of the final season revealed.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition Season V downloadable content characters Oro and Akira Kazama will launch on August 16 , Capcom announced in the Street Fighter V: Champion Edition Summer Update. Final Season V downloadable content character Luke, an entirely new character, was also announced as due out in November.

Get the latest details below, via Capcom Unity.

Luke (November 2021)

Street Fighter V

Our biggest Summer Update 2021 announcement was about the one thing on everyone’s mind since we first announced Season 5: the fifth and final character for Street Fighter V!

Introducing Luke, a brand new character that will help expand the world of Street Fighter. Check out the announcement video:

Oro (August 16)

Street Fighter V

Returning from the Street Fighter III series, the wandering hermit is set to show these young kids how it’s done. Oro’s playstyle in Street Fighter III has allowed for a variety of gameplay strategies and his Street Fighter V iteration is no different. We’ve gone over Oro before, in the Street Fighter V Spring Update, so check out that blog for a refresh of Oro’s moveset. We’ll briefly cover some more in-depth details here.

Akira Kazama (August 16)

Street Fighter V

New to the world of Street Fighter, Akira Kazama got her start in the fighting game world in the Rival Schools series, which debuted in 1997. The original game was a one-on-one style fighting game where players could call in teammates as assist characters.

In Street Fighter V, Akira calls upon the help of her older brother Daigo as her V-Trigger assist, similar to that of Rival Schools. Her playstyle is best when she’s up-close and personal, although she also has a few long range moves that can help keep opponents at bay. Let’s dive deeper into her moves.

New Stage: Rival Riverside (August 16)

Street Fighter V

Rival Riverside, a Rival Schools stage near a river and near Akira’s school, Gedo High School is a new stage that will be arriving alongside Akira, on August 16. The sunset means it’s after school hours, so you might see some other Rival Schools characters hanging around too.

—Akira’s teammates (Edge and Gan) from the Rival Schools games also make an appearance!

Street Fighter V

■ Online Tournament Mode

Street Fighter V

We’ve also shared more details on the Online Tournament Mode! This free mode will be launching alongside Oro and Akira on August 16 and will be available to all players. Through this mode you’ll be able to create and participate in your own online tournaments with friends, Dojo members, and anyone from Street Fighter V community! You’ll be able to tinker with a wider variety of rule sets to make your tournaments as wild or restrictive as you want. We’ll have more information on this mode very soon, including some fun tournaments hosted by us, so stay tuned!

Pois no ínicio do Vídeo ele fala isto: Someday i want to become a man like him - Algum dia eu quero me tornar um homem como ele.

exemplos de chars desse tipo: gato (garou), dao long (breakers), gen (sfa), long (bloody roar), akira (virtua fighter. sim, é kung fu), lion (tmb virtua fighter), lei (tekken), eileen (virtua fighter), o velho bebado do virtua fighter, hon fu (fatal fury), etc, etc até a chunli do street 3 pra frente.

pesquisei agora o estilo: Although the style is officially explained as the result of a mixture of several disciplines, it strongly resembles the Chinese martial art style of Bajiquan/Hakkyokuken (Eight Extremes Fist)

ou seja, é kung fu mesmo

outras 2: helena e leifang (dead or alive)

outro: feng do tekken

nao adianta... nao tem fim :lula:

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition DLC character Luke launches November 29

Battle Balance update and Capcom Pro Tour 2022 bundle set for March 2022.

Street-Fighter-V_2021_11-23-21_004-320x180.jpg

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition Season V downloadable content character Luke will launch on November 29, Capcom announced.

The release of Luke brings an end to Capcom’s digital updates and character releases for Street Fighter V, but the company will continue to support the title in the future. The next update following Luke will be the Battle Balance update and Capcom Pro Tour 2022 bundle in March 2022.

Get the latest details below, via Capcom.

Luke

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

We kicked off the Street Fighter V Fall Update with a preview of Luke’s story. Street Fighter V‘s newest character experiences a dramatic childhood event involving his father that inspires him to become a fighter and join the military.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

During Luke’s military service, he runs into a familiar face. We won’t spoil too much more here, so be sure to play Luke’s Character Story to learn more!

Luke Keeps on the Offense

Luke’s fighting style is geared around forward moving attacks that keep the pressure on. All three of his normal punches propel Luke forward, allowing him to quickly close distances. Luke also has two target combos: “Triple Impact” (LP -> MP -> HP) and “Snapback Combo,” (MP x4).

—Luke’s target combos are great for dealing solid damage.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

Luke has an arsenal of special moves to close in safely and create offensive opportunities. His go-to zoning tool is a mid-to-long range projectile called “Sand Blaster” that shoots energy from his hands. “Rising Rocket,” Luke’s trusty anti-air attack, launches him upwards to strike opponents.

—Use “Sand Blaster” to zone out your opponents.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

—Luke’s anti-air, “Rising Rocket,” checks opponents who frequently jump.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

Luke also has a forward-moving command dash called “Avenger.” This maneuver can be used in combos and allows him cover more ground. “Avenger” has two follow ups. Pressing a punch button following “Avenger” executes “No Chaser,” a shoulder charge that can be used in combos.

—“No Chaser” executes a forward charge at his opponents.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

Meanwhile, pressing a kick button after executing “Avenger” will have Luke use “Impaler,” a mid-range overhead kick that can catch crouching opponents.

—“Impaler” hits overhead and is great for surprising opponents.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

“Flash Knuckle” is Luke’s go-to combo starter and extender. Each punch leads to a different forward-moving attack. LP moves slightly forward, MP moves a bit further, and HP will go nearly half-screen.

—Each “Flash Knuckle” executes a different punch and goes a set distance forward.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

Holding a punch button when using “Flash Knuckle” gives it different properties, depending on the button pressed. Charge them up and experiment with each one to find which best fits your combo style.

A New Kind of V-System

Luke’s V-System has some unique aspects compared to the rest of the Street Fighter V cast, especially with his V-Triggers. For his V-Skills, Luke can either play a more in-your-face style or make some hard reads and predict opponent’s throws and command grabs.

Luke’s V-Skill I, “Hard Shot,” powers up his “Flash Knuckle” move, allowing him to use the charged version of the attack without holding the button down. Charging a “Hard Shot” enhanced “Flash Knuckle” can lead to even more devastating damage and more combo options.

—Use “Hard Shot” and flex on your opponents…

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

—and unleash a more powerful “Flash Knuckle!”

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

V-Skill II, “Suppressor,” has Luke take a back step before executing a close-range body blow. With proper timing, this move can excel against throws and command grabs. Utilize it to keep pressure on your opponents or when you notice them throwing a lot.

—Counter throws and command grabs with “Suppressor.”

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

When it comes to V-Triggers, Luke’s are quite special. Both V-Triggers cause his V-Gauge to become a timer that continuously fills in a neutral state. Additionally, in a first for Street Fighter V V-Triggers, Luke can gain V-Timer by doing damage. Conversely, he loses V-Timer when taking damage or using his V-Trigger-specific moves. This also forces opponents to approach and prevent Luke from maintaining a filled V-Timer. V-Trigger I, “Fully Armed,” gives Luke access to two new moves, which we revealed during the Street Fighter V Summer Update 2021. Pressing HP+HK after activation throws out three long range projectiles similar to “Sand Blaster” called “Rock Smasher.”

—“Rock Smasher” lets Luke throw out 3 long range projectiles.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

If you press HP+HK after an EX “Sand Blaster” while “Fully Armed” is active, the screen will slow down and Luke will throw out a flurry of impactful projectiles in quick succession called “Thermobaric Thrash.” This move adds tons of damage, but is also resource heavy. So make sure you have EX-meter for that EX “Sand Blaster!”

—“Thermobaric Thrash” dishes out heavy damage but can only be used after EX “Sand Blaster.”

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

Luke’s V-Trigger II, “Vanguard,” lets him cancel Flash Knuckle” into another of a different strength. This opens up previously unavailable combo paths, allowing Luke to double up on “Flash Knuckles” in his combos. This V-Trigger synergizes well with V-Skill I, “Hard Shot,” allowing Luke to chain together powered up “Flash Knuckles!”

—“Vanguard” can string together “Flash Knuckles” for more damage and extended combos!

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition

Luke is fully armed and ready to enter the ring on November 29th with additional costumes. Get yourself ready by picking up the Season 5 Character or Premium Pass!

Capcom teases ‘future of Street Fighter’ news for 2022

"Luke is an important character who will be featured in the next Street Fighter."

SF-Future_11-23-21-320x180.jpg

Capcom will share more information on the future of Street Fighter in 2022, Street Fighter V director Takayuki Nakayama and producer Shuhei Matsumoto teased towards the end of today’s Street Fighter V Fall Update, which focused on the game’s final downloadable content character Luke.

“For us, Street Fighter V has been a project with peaks and valleys, but thanks to our fans, we’ve been able to accomplish what we aimed for,” Nakayama said. “We, the development team, will use this experience as a springboard to move on to the next project!”

Matsumoto added, “While this is the end of this digital showcase series for Street Fighter V, this is more of a ‘see you soon’ rather than a ‘goodbye.’ We look forward to providing you more information next year!”

Earlier in the program, Matsumoto said, “Luke is an important character who will be featured in the next Street Fighter project, so we hope you try him out when he’s released in Street Fighter V!”

Capcom ended the Fall Update with the following text: “We’ll be back with more news about the future of Street Fighter.”

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is available now for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam.

ja tivemos do Final Fight e Rival Schools...
